Cool racing in Holland with 80 boats at the Europacup in Hoorn! Happy with my racing here finishing of with 3 bullets in a row. 👏Unfortunately only 2 of them were official having an over early, what cost me the overall women win. 😅

Long day of waiting today on the water because of too unstable wind! I kept myself entertained sailing with my cousin for a change! ;-) cool to have some family around to cheer for me when I am racing in Holland 🤗

After being sent back on shore to wait for proper wind we did two races. Unfortunately I didn't had my best day missing the medal race now beiing in 13th.. tomorrow 1 more race to finish the event well 👍🏻

Water is really important to me. Without water i wouldnt be able to do the sport I love the most: sailing! But unfortunately some people see water mostly as an enemy . Floods, people who cant swim, polluted water causing deseases or for people who dont have acces to clean drinking water. We need and use water every day! Not only we do but also animals. We have the responsibility to take care of it!

I am really happy I am able to sail for almost two months now since my 'injury', although it doesn't mean the project of 'getting back' is over yet.

It's a proces, day by day, with ups and downs. Trying to get myself strong and fit again. Sometimes you win and sometimes you learn again a bit more how your body works and how much she can handle. For today it meant a rest day. Not an easy decision when you are in the middel of an event, but to get better you need to be wise. So no action for me today at the Worldcup . Focus this year is on the Worlds in August. #needtobepatientandtrust #comeback #ikblijfvechten
