The news of the Yulin China Dog Eating festival involves torturing animals and it is just too sad. Whilst I travel enough to know that diets can vary depending on where you are and people need to eat, many of the 10 million dogs consumed are not farmed, they are domestic pets that are stolen and loved like I love this guy, my rescue Whippet, Zeus. The torture that insures for these creatures in preparation of the consumption is just despicable and is animal cruelty.
