Check-in Station: Miss Monochrome ep1 (perhaps I'm starting the Fall season a little too ambitiously) 

What the hell am I watching? An animation about some vocaloid
princess tossing all her money to some half-wit moe con and wondering
her ass into the real world only to find work as a convenience mart
clerk? Oy! This may have been a mistake!

I guess if I'm gonna give this first episode points, it's SOMEWHAT
unique. The roomba as a pet for an artificial person is a cute idea.
It's only around four minutes long, so if this is terrible, I'll only
die if I watch the entire series as once. And Ms. Monochrome's
character design doesn't seem all that bad. It's cute while still
being robotic, even with those giant, lifeless eyes.

I'm not excited that this series starts off with a premonition, or
that this show is about idols. I know they're all the rage right now,
and so are shows about them, but I hate them! Keep that crap in my
mecha anime as a supporting role, or tangently inside of Kami Nomi
(Macross being an exception to all rules).

Well, that's the start of my Fall 2013 season. Man, I can't believe I
let people talk me into trying this...
