Except I think I'd say "It's possible this is true with prices as well." I'm not saying he's guilty but he is a self-admitted liar. He could have said "$70 or $80" to get people off the scent or it could be as simple as misremembering now much the item cost. He did smoke a lot of weed and that may affect his memory. 70-80 isn't too far away from 119.

Either way I really don't think he would be dumb enough to leave his girlfriend's present in a dead girl's car. Maybe it was an accident. Maybe it fell out of his coat pocket during a struggle. Maybe Adnan somehow got a hold of it and planted it there to frame Jay. The possibilities are endless but I think it was probably something simple like Hae's gift to Stephanie.
