George LEE’s 2nd Dail address|He asks “why dont we have a Bord Dail-Nua?”|Enda hung his head, l’Central-Party laughed hard #gLee
It was journalist George Lee's second time to raise issues at the parliament of Ireland, the Dail.
July 8th, one month in to his new position as a Dail Deputy politician. The issue he raised was parliament's 4 month holiday summer break, suggesting it was ridiculous that Parliamentary Questions asked in July would be answered in September.
Then he said it: why don't we have reforms here at Parliament : " Why don't we have a 'Bord Dail-Nua'?
Enda hung his head in his hands, and the Party Whip Kehoe reaches for his pen.... George would never again appear on the Front Bench that session.
