How To Install A Water Storage Tank?
Installing a water tank is very simple now you know what you'll be using it for. Here is a quick way that I found very simple to understand.
Prepare the water storage tank base – Pour a concrete block that's exactly level and flat in all directions, and is larger than the diameter/base dimensions of the vertical tank.
Fit the overflow drainage pipe – If you bought your water storage tank from Enduraplas, your fitting may already be installed. Piping should then be connected from the fitting into the storm water system, or taken to a point well clear of the tank where it will not undermine the base.
Install your fill pipes from your roof – it's now time to fit your pipe that goes from your roof to your water tank lid. If you're using the water in your tank for human consumption, please speak to your local dealer regarding what filters you'll need.
