Today it's exactly 3 years ago I got my concussion during a holiday in South Africa. This picture was taken 15 minutes before I hit my head. Who would have thought that a silly accident would shake up my entire life. Slowly but surely I'm making progress and I have deep faith I will conquer this. . . It's Brain Awareness Week - a global campaign to increase public awareness of the progress and benefits of brain research. On my own. This may sound a little wildish, but it wasn't. At all. Since my concussion I'm not able to be active for longer than a couple of hours, so I decided to opt for a safe, relaxed and bit luxurious adventure (also because I'm afraid of snakes - poisonous and non-poisonous - and Italian men 😜). Every morning after indulging an incredible delicious breakfast I walked up the mountain surrounded with all beauty that nature has to offer - and I felt so ALIVE. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 A feeling that I almost forgot because of the fog in my head that accompanies me on this concussion journey. After my hike I went back to the hotel***** to take a bath, chill, and have a massage - and I felt so SPOILED. 👸🙈😂 . . . #queenintothewild #dolomites #italy #nature #mountains #travel #hike #memories #tb #tbt
