Although we came up short today of our goal to be going to Homestead next weekend to battle for the Championship, we can hold our heads high...we went down fighting. At the end of the day, it's been a great year, a year I'll never forget. We started the year off winning the non points Sprint Unlimited, then eight days later won our Super Bowl...The Daytona 500. Follow that up with DH's first ever road course win, then go "Home" and get his first win at Richmond since 2010. All this while being led by a first year Crew Chief, who took this team and led us like a veteran. Only those of us within the sport can really understand just how hard that is, and appreciate the job he's done. It's hard to sit back and appreciate the good times b/c our season is so long and fast paced, but when I do, I realize just how blessed I truly am to be a part of a great #11 FedEx TEAM within JGR, the best organization in the industry. We will go to Homestead and try to end our season, the same way we started...with a win. #whynotus #blessed
