Subject: and then that happens
Used to be a good place to find small streamers playing interesting games, communities would build around individual casters. It would be like meeting friends nightly and discussing what's being played and interact with the caster. Now there's a ton of sponsorship, most big casters now can't really interact with people from the sheer numbers of people, lots of douchebaggery from chatters and it just feels inorganic when watching a caster play a game he doesn't really want to play but X company paid him $500 or whatever to stream the game for a couple days. It's like with many thing in that when corporations invade a community built from scratch, inevitably things change and not always for the better.
