For a 1st episode, I can't say that this episode stood out one way or
another. This new Saya is exceptionally daft, but I found her surprisingly
sexy during the fight scene. I'm not putting her up for potential harem
status as of yet, I'm just saying this because it came to mind.

And as is standard practice during the first episode of an anime, things are
overly cryptic. However, I prefer that to a show that spends an obsessive
amount of time trying to explain things in the world bit by bit over the
early episodes. All that Eight Trigram babble will be explained
appropriately in due dime.

I think I'm going to give this show a chance even though I'm stuck w/ an
extremely limited queue (only 2 or 3 new shows this season). Big risk, but
hopefully I don't regret choosing it..
