#BloodC ep8: I suffer when this show doesn't focus on the violence. #anime

They took it straight to the school! And this monster's a honey badger.
It's slaughtering everything in broad daylight. It wouldn't even let the
kids commit suicide! I was rather surprised to see how well Saya's friend
took the sight of her covered in blood with a split monster corpse before
her. I also found it curious that he wasn't around when the attack
happened. I was for sure he was in their class.

The pace of this episode for most of it was certainly slower and dialogue
heavy. And that's definitely the part of the show that I find least
entertaining. The constant repetition of dialogue that occurred before Saya
was in the reality she's in now, the constant pokes at her memory, the
little bits of chatter that don't seem to go anywhere. Its episodic
repetitive nature is what irks me. I wouldn't be so bad if overall the show
was more entertaining, but it's not. The violence is very over the top and
gory in a way that fans I think would approve of, but the rest of this show
just DRAGS so very hard.

P.S. Can I say how terribly disappointed I was that Saya just stood there
while at least THREE of her classmates were slaughtered or eaten. What the
f*ck?! Does fitting in matter more than saving those people? That was
either some really bad pacing by the staff or says something about Saya that
isn't good. My guess is the former. >:^(

"So stupid!"
