#Eureka7 ep20: this show has Gundam eps & Macross eps ...you can't tell me this one doesn't scream Eva. #anime 

For the first half of the series (the half I'm most familiar with),
this for me is THE pinnacle of the series. With an upcoming episode
being a close second or a tie. All those frustrations and feelings
that started to bubble in the beginning of the series, and intensified
after episode 14, have come to a head here. The two leads, Renton and
Holland are as unsufferable, belligerent , as childish as they
possibly can be. And the communication is as bad as it gets in this
show. And that's pretty damn bad. And still, I enjoyed the hell out
of this episode.
