#Bleach ch520: Kenpachi's gonna get an upgrade. FINALLY! #manga 

I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get to see more of the Spirit
King this chapter. But there was a lot of progress nonetheless.
First off, Ichigo's back to 100%. ...and I guess Renji is too. I'm
guessing that Ichigo will "learned" by each new member of the Zero
squad until his zanpakutou is "repaired", then he'll meet the Spirit
King.

Also of interest is Kyoraku's promotion to captain (Captain-General)
of the First Squad. He proposes finally fully training Kenpachi
Zaraki, which means he will finally get a damn shikai, and maybe even
a bankai. Which I'd imagine would be INSANE in power.

Finally, we learn that the most demur and seemingly calm (but never
timid) Captain Unohana (you know the HEALING squad) is the original
'Kenpachi', strongest of the shinigami. Wow! Did not see that
coming. I wondered why everyone had a healthy fear of her, but I
assumed it was because she could break someone down with her reiatsu
as easily as she could heal them.

More teasers, but they're effective because I'm very anxious to see
how things progress from here.
