That was an interesting flashback filled episode. Kind of reminds of the Star Wars storyline for Anakin Skywalker. A young warrior has a lot of power & eager for acceptance. The wise, but stuffy leadership shuns & angers the youth. Youth is wrong/pushed into a corner & becomes a threat.

Something that bothers me... How come Muramasa didn't recognize Byakuya as a Kuckiki? You think he would have a better understanding of the situation once he figured that out. Regardless of Muramasa's actions or inactions, my focus is now squarely on Byakuya. This makes it a family matter, & I'm placing my bets on Byakuya being the one to settle this & not Ichigo.
