#Katanagatari ep2: THAT'S more like it. The dialogue really paid dividends by the end of this ep. #anime 

I was terribly annoyed and generally unimpressed by the first episode. But I'm starting to feel the love more. All this talk and focus on a swordsman's absolute territory, seeing the battoujutsu in action, the showdown and tension. It felt good! I had flashes of Rurouni Kenshin for a few moments there. And coming from my perspective, that's some high praise. I'm sure there's more tidbits to pick from all of that dialogue. Plus it looks like we got a glimpse of the final boss. Katanagatari... you are making a fan of me moment by moment. It seems like I'll just have to bear with those tedious conversations between our hero and Togame.
