#StarDriver ep8: men settle their disputes with giant robot fights! (I wish!) #anime
Well, it appears as if Sugata just needed to blow off some steam. Thank goodness. The fight was quite entertaining. Somewhat reminded me of the manly-man disputes Ryuhou & Kazuma had in s-CRY-ed. I had to laugh at the Glittering Crux and their poor attempt to use Sugata to get throught Takuto & Tauburn. They ended up being used by him in the most base way possible. And thank goodness that mech wasn't actually Samekh, it was quite ugly.
All this leaves me with some nagging questions though, the girl who sings "Monochrome" has been let go. She leaves the island and it almost appears like no big deal. It turns out her and "Head" had a thing going, but he just lets her go. I'm really curious to see what his whole goal is right now. I certainly can't see the ending this soon into the show. It's too vague right now. I'm not even sure how big of an enemy the Glittering Crux is. Sugata and Wako seem to really be suffering from their imprisonment on the island. It all makes me feel as though we have way too incomplete a portion of the entire picture to know where this is truly going.
