#FairyTail ep64: Erza made Midnight look like hot garbage. #anime 

In the end Midnight was all fluff and illusion, and turned out to be a big disappointment. Then again his failure made Erza look that much more impressive. She's this series Kakashi, and may be even more impressive in some respects (and I'm not merely talking about being hot and sexy).

I had a good laugh at Natsu and Gray getting their asses kicked by that staff. I had plenty of good laughs until Zero showed up. Kinda clever that their guildmaster was an alternate personality. Though in the end, he's just a psycho who craves destruction. Pretty standard and cliche honestly, but then again this is a shounen battle manga. The whole trick is to work within the cliches to make something unique.
