In the Presidio, nearly all the fire hydrants have "water holes" very nearby.
Outside the SF Design Center, they managed to color coordinate this high pressure hydrant with dusk.
Coach stops? I expect this language will disappear sooner than later.

Outside the San Francisco Design Center, this hydrant's bonnet is a stylish minty green.
This hydrant in the Presidio looks more glazed ceramic than painted metal. Very unusual color, too.
