It is true that the Islamic terrorists hate the Dutch. It is not an unreasonable assumption, however, it is inappropriate to draw conclusions without the facts. I feel so very much for the people on the street who were hurt and killed. This was a sad day for the Dutch.

First of all RIP to all victims but to Marcius as other friend mentioned you must be pure idiot to think of islamist fanatics what the heck look at the attacker he is pure Dutch who lost his job and house due to crisis and acted alone whitout any plan go educate yourself and do not watch to much FOX NEWS

Get a grip! Are you all blind???? How can you assume that a Dutch young man is associated to a terrorist group and this terrorist group is islamic or similar? Look around! Wake up! He lost his job a few weeks ago and he had to give up his house in the small village he used to live. New tenants were due to move into the property on May 1st. Of course is not right to do such a thing and for no reason someone can kill another human being! But please open your eyes, problems are closer than they appear!
Losing your job in our over-consuming cultures might drive you crazy! Blame all the time "terrorists" for any problem arise, it won't make our world any better!

I find it so pathetic that already some idiot poster makes an assumption of Islamic terror plot. First it is way to early to even comment, secondly any "plot" would almost certainly have involved a bomb or guns and thirdly most probably the attack was alone because it used a single vehicle in an attack that would almost certainly not succeed.

I guess this poster is just another right-wing troublemaker pathetically cashing-in on what is a terrible and tragic event for their own disgusting personal gain.

I SHOULD LIKE TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THIS PERSON'S BACKROUND. IT'S DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE THAT HE ACTED ALONE. IF HE DID ACT ALONE, I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HIS "FRIENDS". REMEBER THE "SHOE BOMBER" ON THE PLANE FROM ENGLAND? HE ACTED "ALONE" AS WELL. I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THAT CERTAIN FACTIONS, SUCH AS THE FANATIC ISLAMISTS, SEARCH OUT PEOPLE WHO ARE MARGINAL TO BEGIN WITH.

I read one report says maximum 15 yrs jail for attempted murder of a royal - I find this penalty very low in view of teh severity and utter calousness of this attack, putting, as it hundreds of others in danger. As he has also killed 4, I feel the charge should not be 4 charges of murder, but that as all 4 were in one go and seperate, it should be a single charge of mass murder.
