Simmering nicely :-) Leek & Potato soup
It's Autumn, so I'm making leek & potato soup :-)
Had so much stuff we had to take two cars & had a busy stall all morning, only left with one box of stuff :-)
Could anyone, seriously, consider this statesmanlike or want this man to be PM? Just utterly appalling :-(
I'm going in!! Have decided not to risk past 'use by date' prawns on my Dad though!!

@HolidayAngel1 you can buy the old ones online, look for 'rough service lamps', they're not allowed to say they're for domestic use, but are the same :-)

This is what the Roman Theatre of Verulamium, St Albans, used to look like Circa AD 180
So we popped into Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Britain's oldest pub, for a cool lager .... Mmmm :-)
Back through Verulamium Park..... getting thirsty now...!
Then past St Albans Abbey
Lethal front door!! No good if you've had a few drinks!!
Then we walked down Fishpool Street towards St Albans Abbey, where you can park but you can't get out! Very high kerb!
Had a wonderful lunch in the garden of the Rose & Crown, St Michael's, St Albans
