Is it really an issue without FAR/NEAR? I am a bit worried about the lift that the MK2 parts have, not sure if it will screw everything up.

Otherwise I'd have to make some contraption to "pull" the thing from above... That is kinda tricky. Or launch each "arm" separately, but then I'll end up with a wobbly base :(

I can't actually launch it for now anyway, my launch pad is limited at 140 tons. The base is about 25 tons, the middle stage that would transfer it from LKO to Minmus orbit is another 25 tons. To get that whole thing in orbit requires nearly 300 tons of hardware...

So then again, maybe I could send it in multiple pieces... hmmm.
