PianoTweet 4 (Todi Melody)
Here is PianoTweet nr. 4! "Todi Melody" is a melody that suddenly popped up in my head, while drinking an Italian coffee in a typical Italian bar. In the ancient centre ("centro storico") of Todi.
Todi is a small town in Umbria, situated in the centre of Italy, about 120 kms above Rome.
Coming home later, I improvised probably half a day on the new theme. I recorded a lot of it, probably counting more than a 100.000 notes. (that is a bit too much for being a PianoTweet...).
So I edited the first lines and the coda together. Today's PianoTweet counts less than 140 notes. That's freedom of creativity, isn't it? :-)
