Best Selling Single of Baccara 

Disco song "Yes Sir, I Can Boogie" was the best-selling single of Spanish singing duo Baccara. The song was released in 1977 during the prime of the disco era ad quickly became a chart-topper, especially across Europe and the United Kingdom. It spent one week at the top of the charts in the UK after being released.
The song was written by Rolf Soja and Frank Dostal and sung by the Spanish flamenco dancers Maria Mendiola and Mayte Mateos, who were first discovered by RCA Records on the island of Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands. Executive Leon Deane reportedly saw them dancing and singing songs for tourists before signing them to the label.
Despite its popularity in the 1970s, the song has been featured recently on television and live performers, including as a television advertisement for Cadbury Dairy Milk in the United Kingdom as well as a live performance in 2021 by the Glaswegian band The Fratellison the Chris Evans Breakfast Show.
