Supergroup USA For Africa is responsible for the charity single “We Are The World,” which has become one of the most listened to songs in history.

Sales for the song exceed 20 million copies and it’s the eighth best-selling single of all time. It was an instant success when it was released in 1985, topping worldwide charts and becoming the fasting-selling pop song in United States history.
The song was also the first to become certified multi-platinum after earning the Quadruple Platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.
