Nico Verhoeven: “It’s going to be a long day for the riders. With some climbs along the road, today’s stage offers possibilities for attackers. For us, especially after yesterday’s hard stage, the focus will be on protecting Bauke. The boys put in a real effort in stage 6, so we can’t expect them to be in a breakaway the day after right away.”
