#TDF – PREVIEW – @letour stage 15: Givors – Mont Ventoux (242 km) 

Around 10:30 the riders head out for the mythical Mont Ventoux. After 221 km they reach the foot of ‘The Bald Mountain’ and following a 21,5 km climb they finish at the top. Bauke Mollema and Laurens ten Dam, second and fifth in the GC, hope the be amongst the first finishers. “It’s a very important stage, but actually every stage is important”, Mollema said. “It’s the first time on the Ventoux for me. I don’t know the mountain very well, but that was the case in the Pyrenees as well but nevertheless it went pretty well there. I don’t expect it to be a problem.”
