Made it to Santa Barbara though we were delayed a bit by a motorcyclist who went off the mountain road ahead of us and who needed chopper-ing out. We got to talk to a Wildlife Service woman who was trying to trap a bear where we’d gone running earlier. She had a bear trap made from a culvert. Cracked/dented both sides and the front of the helmet. Pics! Blood!
