This is my carving bench for the next month, and I have already made some friends who have given me some beautiful Tasmanian timber off cuts. I wouldn't want to be chopping down trees, especially in a place where the forests are so old but these are discarded from the milling industry. Saved by a keen eye and handed to me with a smile and a promise for more today. Can't believe this place.
