You say this a lot but all your fans love and admire you - we would never know you are nervous except for the fact that you tell us all the time and have seen you hold your son's hand/arm. André Rieu Now what would you dream would be a "real profession" Andre? Do you imagine that you would not get nervous doing some other profession? I think perfectionists may always get nervous - and probably perform and achieve highly, like you. Have you thought about what your fans would be like without you?? Nothing to stop us from becoming nervous wrecks!!

Lucky for the world you didn't learn another profession - the stage claimed you. Sorry it is always full of nerves for you, but I guess that's what keeps you sharp and gives you that great performer's high. I always think about all the things that have to go right for you, all the planning that happens. I don't know how you keep all of your scripts and music in your head! Very few people could do what you do, I know I couldn't.
