Camp at Occupy Gainesville (Florida) 

Left camp at 5am after an excellent talk with some wonderful people. I had an interesting 2-hour discussion with a grad student. He shared my optimism, but warned, "We need to rock the soda machine back and forth a few times before anything comes out." There was no police presence whatsoever. The other night, they were told that they could not sleep in the grass, but the mulch or sidewalk was fine. Go figure.
