Little difference with the polder landscape on the Wadsite of Terschelling. Looked like Borkum has its own 'Dwarsdijk'
Near this spot was a monument honouring some general of World War I (1914-1918)
Broad beach near coffeeplace 'Dijnenbudje'
The Pirate flag
The place is decorated with stuff found, "jutted" on the beach
Borkums desolated FKK beach
Mmmm Kaffee mit Torte und Zahne. Das schmeckt
The coffee place had something to do with pirates
A good place for coffee. Across the dunes is FKK
Appealing of Borkum is that "Borkum Stadt" it is situated near the coastline. You walk like Scheveningen to the beach
Bij mooi weer echt wel een lekker eiland. Maar hoe druk is het zomers wel niet op Borkum? Nu relaxed
Die Wolken das Strand und der weite Mer ......
Really liked the Borkum boulevard
Renting such a two seat beach chair must be very romantic and out of the wind
But this is also Borkum with its musicians on a very attractive boulevard
Typical outlook for a German island with its private clinics for aging 'Kur Gaste' in need of 'pneumatic' and 'pediatric' care
This church tower is definitely no match for the Terschellinger Brandaris
More of the tower in its environment
Compared to the Brandaris on Terschelling this is not a winner. It is a historic German landmark though
With a rented bike (6,5 euro) you can do Borkum in one day and see it all. 7.30 boat up + 18.00 back stands for a great day
Arjen Visser auf der Inzelfahrt
The trainride from and to the boat is a typical tourist attraction of this German island
Prett nice trainride. It is included in the 15,90 day tour price for the boat
7 km train ride takes you from the boat to Borkum "Stadt"
