Reflections
As i wait in the lobby of the martinez, just off la croisette, for a taxi to nice airport, i wanted to post some reflections on a week at the Cannes Lions Advertising Festival. It's been a crazy and tough week, with no shortage of challenges along the way, but i made it.
Reflection number one is that PRs at week long shows like this work hard. Deadlines arrive on your plate thick and fast, and you're only as good as your last article. Take into account your classic on the fly, no bandwidth, no signal considerations and it is a potent mix...
People management is also hard. Right person, right place is a good motto but sometimes next to impossible to nail.
