Our dear friends and partner, the @cruyfffoundation, recently visited us on #Lesvos. The purpose of their trip was to not only gain a better understanding of the situation on the Greek islands, but to establish the best places to create safe play areas for the residents of the hosted and hosting communities on Lesvos and Samos. .
As a follow up to their visit, a five part series has been created, which has been aired on Dutch television station, @rtl4. In part one, Susila Cruyff and @johnnydemolofficial head to the ‘Life Jacket Graveyard’ in Molivos, situated in the north part of Lesvos. There they meet Ali Shams Eddin, our Olive Grove manager, who shares his story of how he came to work for Movement On The Ground.

#CampToCampUs #DignityForAll Last Tuesday evening, we at Movement On The Ground hosted an inspiring event filled with insightful presentations and panels, stimulating conversations and authentic art and culture in Amsterdam titled, ‘The Unveiling Of Our New Movement’!
.
Present on the night was a beautiful blend of MOTG founders and office staff, long standing Movers, donors, new faces and of course, our dedicated ground team.
.
The goal for the evening was to energise and enlighten all attendees with our ambitious plans for the future, rolling out our #CampToCampUs-model across #refugee camps around the world – and we are pretty sure we did!
.
On the night and in the days following the event, we received some amazing contributions in the form of funds, people power and partnerships, and we would like to extend our appreciation to all those who have pledged!
.
But never fear; if you weren’t present on the night you can still invest in the future of our organisation. Head to our #linkinbio to make a donation or for more information on how you can be a part of our mission.
