SpaceX Dragon capsule 

This Dragon C1 capsule is the first privately developed space vehicle to return from Earth orbit. SpaceX is the company that developed it, and I got to see it the day before the NASA Tweetup began for Atlantis' STS-135 launch, which was the final launch of the space shuttle program, in July 2011.
