“I fail 90% of the time”
Failing is part of my life. I fail at almost everything. And that is a good thing! Because with every failure a little bright spark of uniqueness comes to live. A failing fact: I am a creative director but I cannot ever win a Lion. I work for a cigarette brand.

Julia Izmalkowa | Founder @Izmalkowa Consulting - Only hires girls - "I can’t sleep when I have to fire someone." We are like family. Sailing on one ship into the wide ocean. The relationship with my employees has always been my biggest priority. A while ago I realised I got too attached to the happiness of my people. It affected the way I ran my business and I forgot about the company goals. Now I got my priorities straightened. Hire soon, fire fast. Photo by @bbingen. “There is no wrong answer, except for not having an answer”
When I was teaching at London’s School of Communication Arts one of my best students came up to me. After winning one of the biggest advertising prices, he got ten job offers. He should have been thrilled, but he was numbed. He did not know what to do. I had to think back on one of my biggest failures: indecisiveness. There’s no wrong or right answer, except for not having an answer. Eventually he didn’t choose one of the ten companies. Why? I hired him. 📷@bbingen
