Wohlmuth 2013 Sauvignon Blanc Klassik. Bursts with clean liveliness! From South Styria, Austria. Perfect varietal correctness. One of the most elegant white wines we’ve ever seen.
The Wohlmuth family has been cultivating wine since 1803. They make rich, clean and complex wines. The terrain of the Kitzeck area is of steep slopes, schist soil, a microclimate with a great variation in temperature and a limited handpicked yield. Gerhard Wohlmuth an enthusiastic, nationally and internationally trained winemaker has succeeded year after year in producing award winning wines on national and international level. Gerhard Wohlmuth was awarded “Austrian’s Winemaker of the Year 2001” and won the “International Pinot Gris Trophy 2007” at the International Wine Challenge in London. The winery is increasingly run by his younger family members who keep the tradition of making outstanding wines. This Sauvignon Blanc will wow everyone who has the pleasure to taste it.
