#MadokaMagica ep5: "...it's as fruitless as trying to raise the dead." #anime 

Interesting, it appears that the wish made affects what kind of magical girl you
will become. It also appears that this new headhunting magical girl is one hell
of a realist and opportunist. She went right for the newbie Sayaka. It's
amazing how my understanding of this story has changed. This episode made the
series start to feel more like... what's the name of that manga/novel where they
have the kids fight on an island for a chance to survive? Anyway, you get what
I mean. This is in reality a deathmatch for preteen and teenage girls. Quite
sick in reality once you give it some though.
