What a race... I was so strong today and was in front the last 1500m with 3m in front of the girls but I missed the buoy 30m from the finish. Came in 4th eventually. Disappointed about my stupid mistake but I feel strong. #RoadToRio

Welcome to Hoorn! Race starts tomorrow at 09.00. #EuropeanChampionshipsOpenWater What a race... I was so strong today and was in front the last 1500m with 3m in front of the girls but I missed the buoy 30m from the finish. Came in 4th eventually. Disappointed about my stupid mistake but I feel strong. #RoadToRio When your in front and miss the last buoy at 50m from the finish at an European Championships... Now it's time to recover and reset. Tuesday I will swim the 5K time trial. Thanks for all the kind messages everyone. Your support is great!
