There is so much guilt we carry in our hearts and so much of it comes from doing things for ourselves. We would rather stay in situations or with people that cause us pain than face the guilt of walking away. If something is bringing you more sadness than joy and preventing you from becoming who you are meant to be, you are allowed to walk away guilt-free.
