André Rieu Hello Andre, Without the meetings there would not be any beautiful concerts, cheer up you soon will be back playing your beloved violin with the JSO Orchestra, patiently waiting for October here in Adelaide South Australia. Best Wishes Rhonda

Hi Andre, I know what you mean when you say you ' cannot call it work it's fun'. I agree I have taught the violin for 30 years but I do not call it work because it is definitely fun!! (Oh, except for exams they are hard work for students and teacher alike) Music is for enjoyment and you have opened peoples eyes to this fact with your beautiful waltzes. EXCELLENT!!

André Rieu Hey Andre, would love to get some music to you from an old Aussie movie made back in 1982 called "The Man from Snowy River". The songs are Jessica's Theme and "The Main Theme". Composed & arranged by Bruce Rowland. I know you would make it sound awesome. A lot of Aussies from my generation would know it & love it. I was born in 1959. Maybe you can get access to it yourself. Would love to hear it recorded by you & your orchestra or played at a concert in Australia - where else?? Smilie

André Rieu Good for you, André! I've always loved that chariots scene from Ben Hur and now it's either that powerful Ben Hur rhythm or the emotional Ben in my head all day. Work for me has always been work, except when I got to talk about you and the orchestra at work then I enjoyed it a lot. It was the very first time my sister saw your concert in person, and she now understands why I play your music again and again...it's in her head now as well and kept asking when you'll have the DVD. She already suggested we meet up at your concert next time! You're wonderful !!!

André Rieu I love arriving in Central Station. What a view coming out of the front doors and seeing the plaza, canals, and hotels and shops. It's about time for another visit to Holland from the US.

André Rieu Another great pic of you André. On the train to Amsterdam? The love you have for your "work" is evident in all your performances. You always give us your best and so do the orchestra and soloists. Can't wait to see the DVD!

Then back to Melbourne, hopefully to see you Melbourne concert on Foxtel...the night we return, jetlagged, but enjoying your wonderful music - cheers wendy & Dave Laing

Sad! This is left of the dream on the square in Maastricht. Next year I'll bring you another dream. I worked the whole weekend in the studio, but I cannot call it work, it's fun Look what a wonderful present I got. Now Marjorie doesn't have to feel lonely anymore when I am on tour!
