#throwbackwednesday Almost two years ago I was featured at @marieclaire_nl ‘s #LASTPAGE (smart&amazing) When I read my own answers to the questions that were asked, it seems that nothing really changed. At least not in the basics. And I think that is a good sign. Because although so many things happened (and I am not just talking about the two books I published since then and all the artprojects I did meanwhile) I know who I am, I know what I want and every day I am actually accomplishing all that. So, happy Wednesday my friends, let’s get to work!

Abandoned house in Tomioka, Fukushima prefecture, Japan. - After I wrote my book ‘Het gevaar van angst - hypochonderen in Fukushima’ (dangers of fear- hypochondria in Fukushima) I’m visiting the affected zone of Fukushima prefecture for the fifth time. This time to make preparations for a new art project in the exclusion zone. Follow this account and/or my website for regular updates! #throwbackwednesday Almost two years ago I was featured at @marieclaire_nl ‘s #LASTPAGE (smart&amazing) When I read my own answers to the questions that were asked, it seems that nothing really changed. Because although so many things happened (and I am not just talking about the two books I published since then and all the artprojects I did meanwhile) I know who I am, I know what I want and every day I am actually accomplishing all that. So, happy Wednesday my friends, let’s get to work! Back in time. In the past 20 years I've done so many projects, traveled the world to amazing places and met the most wonderful people whom sometimes became friends for life. Sometimes when I browse to the files on my computer I 'find' projects that I totally forgot about.
Yesterday I took the time to scroll through my old photos to select a few images for a new website that is in the making for the TINKEBELL. foundation (www.tinkebellfoundation.nl) and it felt a bit like
timetraveling to the past. But allthough I treasure all that I've done, In the meantime I can't wait to make more memories and create tons of new artprojects.
So, the website is still in the making, but if you already want to help me to do so: the TINKEBELL. foundation has a friendship programm. When
you make a donation (any amount) before December 15 I'll make sure you get a special package for Christmas and when your donation is €250,- or more you will get an exclusive friendship artpiece next summer. - Quick donations can be done at www.bunq.me/tinkebellfoundation (yes, #easypeasy!)
Also, the foundation is organising a special friendship dinner, hosted by @artkitchengalleryamsterdam on December 8th. A very special meal will be prepared by Artkitchens home cook and I will be there to talk about past and future projects and some new works will be on show. (info and reservations: info@artkitchen.nl) Yesss, ALL THAT!
