He's NOT Lee. #Block #Report The Egyptian Mau is probably the oldest breed of cat. In fact, the breed is so ancient that its name is actually the Egyptian word for “cat.” Hmmm, did they name it "Mau" because thats the sound cats make? Now I imagine an early Egyptian encountering a wild cat for the first time .. Egyptian: Whoa dude! What are you? Cat: Mau Egyptian: Oh, well ok. (Disclaimer: While I wish this was from my own sense of warped humor, I cannot claim it but I can claim the obnoxious laugh that goes along with reading it.)
