Woodbridge, NJ 

On my drive home from Philadelphia today, I stopped to have lunch with my friend Adriene from Woodbridge, NJ. I first met Adriene through CouchSurfing when she opened up her home during my 2008 Walk Across America. We've stayed in touch ever since, and I try to stop by every year or so on my way to or from Philly or D.C. Over the years she's introduced me to her neighbors and friends and family in Woodbridge. Today we went for lunch at Bill's, this legendary barbeque joint I've first heard of five years ago but not until today did I have a chance to visit.
