My New Job 

This week I started a new job with with a non-profit called Ascentria (formerly Lutheran Social Services of New England). I teach English to "New Americans" living in Worcester, many of whom are refugees. (I'm still doing I.T., this is a substitute, on-call position when another instructor calls out.) My first class, Advanced Reading, was on Tuesday. Here's the class roster... I've been doing ESL on and off for 19 years and this is the most diverse (and crowded) class I've ever taught at once. It's pretty cool... there are five continents represented here!
