The theory on the Occlusion Cuff: The basis of occlusion training, is that we are aiming to minimise the venous outflow from a muscle, while also reducing the arterial inflow.. Subsequently what happens is that we get changes in: muscle oxygenation, fibre type recruitment, metabolic accumulation, growth hormone response, stimulation of protein synthesis and muscle growth inhibitors 🤓.

Going full tourist style here in Dubai 🇦🇪 So far we explored old town, went to the beach 🏝 checked out Burj al Arab, went quad biking, sand boarding, to Wadi Water park and tomorrow we are going to check out the Burj Khalifa.. I just came back from the courthouse to get an Apostille. Before today I had no clue what it was. (Just google if you want to know 😉) I had to get the Apostille to arrange paperwork for the IBVPA (International Beach Volleyball Players Association.) Since we started with the IBVPA I discovered the amount of paperwork and time it takes to arrange things in 'normal' life. As an athlete you are used to quick processes, you score a point or not... So much more patience is necessary with all the things we do for the IBVPA (right @anoukvergedepre😅) But step by step we are getting further in the process. Since I was young I always have some knee problems going on.. Especially when we jump a lot during practices, sometimes walking up a stairs afterwards was a big challenge... 😬 Last year I started using collagen before practices, it has helped so much with improving my knee pain.
