Hurricane Irene 2011 

Hurricane Irene hit us this weekend. It was the first hurricane I remember in Central Massachusetts since Hurricane Gloria in 1985 or 1986. Fortunately we didn't have any damage, we just lost power from 9:30 am until about 5 pm. After dinner I drove over to the office in Worcester to make sure there wasn't any water seeping through the basement door into the room where we keep the servers. All dry there, but we do have a sizeable tree branch which fell across the back porch.
