These baby teeth are from my uncle Koen. He was born in Amsterdam during the Hungry Winter. He came to this earth malnourished - he was very weak. When holes appeared in his skin they feared for his life. A friendly doctor supplied penicillin- and saved his life. Penicillin had just been invented and if it weren't for that medicine Koen wouldn't be with us today. These two teeth are tokens of the miracle (his) life is. #firsttoothout #amsterdam #miracle
