Steininger Riesling Kamptal 2009 (Austria). Over top fresh fruit aromas. Grapefruit, hint of spice & minerality followed by medley of tropical fruit. She's got legs. A charmer. Lingering finish.
Heavy traffic outta Toronto. Guess it's long wkend traffic. Got 1st batch of Wohlmuth Austrian wine. Woo hoo.

Steininger 08 Grand Crü Grüner Veltliner. Legs! Creamy, very well-crafted. Toast almond, luscious peach & pear.  14%. Their best GV; harvested very late. Fermented & aged in large acacia barrels.
Massimo - Egali  European Sea Bass cured with kosher sea salt.  Ben Ryé Passito Di Pantelleria. Sicilian sweet wine. Dark sherry color, velvety rose petal, tea, acacia honey & exotic fruit preserves.
Wow. Now datsa beef! Massimo, you da man.

At Garlic's, London having Creemore/ cheese homemade soup. Thick, hearty, flavorful. Edin just walked by with a platter fries & steak that looked (& smelled amazing). Always tops here.
Viewpointe 08 Sauvignon preview: crisp citrus, fresh apricot, gooseberry. Clean, refreshing. Characterful. Due out this Summer. Can't wait. Pair with Schnitzel or roast pork loin.
Three feature wines from Carriage Trade. Hoo Roo Creek Shiraz ($13.95), Governo Chianti ($15.95), Viewpointe Pinot Grigio ($9.96). Fine wines. NOT in LCBO. Licensee prices.
Enjoying a Don Tomas Clasico robusto as I BBQ hickory smoked ribs. Nutty, earthy, easy draw. Very pleasant. Pairing it w a Kilkenny. Ribs are by M&M Meats. Among the best!
